A joint issue is a set of issues, each from a different
issuer, that have been officially coordinated or synchronized in
some way. In StampData, joint issues include both issues announced as
joint, and the "omnibus" or "common design" issues typically put
out by the colonial empires of years past.
A joint issue has its own name, which need not match the member issues' names. It may optionally have a common design or design type. A joint issue may be flagged as "incomplete" if not all of the member issues have been added to it yet. |
